The ECOsmarte® pool purification system has a unique process which allows its users to swim in a pool or spa free of salt or chlorine. Imagine that! ECOsmarte’s advanced filtration system uses a combination of Electronic Titanium Oxidation and Copper Ionization. There is no health hazard of chemicals or chlorine by-products (THM's) because we do not use halogen substances.
We know now that asthma, heart disease and cancer have been linked to chlorine and that chlorine is rapidly absorbed by the skin. That is one of the reasons why poeple now look for a healthier and more cost effective way to sanitize their pool.
A few years ago, a new filtration system was created using salt as its purifier. It was soon discovered that salt was even more detrimental than chlorine. Sodium Chloride, more commonly known as salt, is a chemical compound with the formula NaCl. Salt is more famous for its common uses in cooking, but has a plethora of lesser known uses as well, such as de-icing roads in poor weather conditions, or its use as a raw material in producing chlorine. So it’s effect on pool structures and equipment is much more severe, as it corrodes decks, pump equipment, pool structures and it kills lawns.

How does ECOSMARTE technology sanitize water ecologically without salt or chlorine?
A chamber containing Titanium and Copper electrodes is installed in the pool plumbing. Once activated, the Ecosmarte® circuitry transforms the power to low D.C. voltage and low amperage on its electrodes, which have a proprietary noble metals coating.
Once a week, the Copper Electrodes are set in the ionization mode and generate Cupric ions (Cu²+) that stay active in the water for 7-10 days, ensuring that bacteria, algae, fungus and most viruses are killed. The rest of the time, the oxidation mode is on and the titanium electrodes complete the work. This natural oxidation process eliminates organic substances such as skin cells, skin oils, hair and suntan oils. A superior filtration media completes the cycle leaving you with water so clean and pure, that you can drink it.

SYSTEM #1:
STANDARD TURBO
(In-Ground Pool System)
The Standard Turbo System is designed for in-ground pools/spa from 10,000- 50,000 gallons.
Manually operated, the Standard Turbo system consists of only two components; the electrical controller box and the ionization/oxidation chamber. It requires that once a week, you to switch the operation from Oxidation Mode to Ionization Mode in the morning and switch it back to Oxidation Mode at night. It is very important that the operation is done the same day each week. Most pools will require the system to provide Ionization 6-12 hours per week to maintain the desired ion level of 0.4 to 0.7 ppm. |

SYSTEM #2:
PROGRAMMABLE TURBO
(In-Ground Pool System)
The Programmable Turbo has a programmable keypad added to its electronic controller box and the chamber is the same. By following the prompts on the screen, the user can program the controller to provide ionization and oxidation for specific days of the week and times of the day. This eliminates the need to manually change the system from ionization to oxidation every week. It is the perfect solution for the pool owner who is often away from home or has an unpredictable schedule. The pH and Copper have to be tested every week. |

PROGRAMMABLE TURBO
WITH CO2 for pH CONTROL

This is the most automated chemical-free water purifier system on the market. We added to the Programmable Turbo System, a CO2 injector that keeps the pH level constant without sensors to calibrate or replace. It is the most trouble-free system on the market.
The pH and Copper have to be tested every week. |

Maintenance
EXPENSES
The filter needs to run 5-8 hours a day. The copper bars in the chamber need to be replaced every 1-2 years at a cost of about $150. The titanium electrode has to be replaced every 5-7 years at a cost of about $250.
If you have the CO2 injector, the CO2 tank has to be filled usually once a month or less.
ECOsmarte® Pool and Spa systems require regular testing of the pH and Cu (copper) levels. For optimal efficiency, these levels should be kept at a pH balance of 6.8, Cu at 0.4. Phosphate should be inexistent at any time. Phosphate must be tested when new water is added to the pool and spa.
ECOsmarte needs only 40 watts
of low DC power to operate.

CHLORINE AND CANCER

But one of the most shocking components to all of these studies is that up to 2/3s of our harmful exposure to chlorine is due to inhalation of steam and skin absorption while showering and swimming. A warm shower, or swimming in warm pool water opens up the pores of the skin and allows for accelerated absorption of chlorine and other chemicals in the water.
One common factor among woman with breast cancer is that they have 50-60% higher levels of chlorination by-products (THMs) in their fat tissue than women without breast cancer. Warranty
Pool and Spa Systems
The manufacturer warrants its equipment to be free of defects in material or workmanship on the main base for the period of five (5) years. This warranty includes the electronic box, the plumbing components and the titanium electrodes. It does not include the self- sacrificing copper electrodes. The warranty does not include installation or repair cost and in no event shall the manufacturer's liability exceed its selling price.
The manufacturer disclaims all liability for damage to its product through improper installation, acts of God, maintenance, use or attempts to operate such products beyond their functional capacities, intentionally or otherwise, or any unauthorized repair. The manufacturer is not responsible for consequential or other damages, injuries, or expenses incurred through the use of its products. |
